Parker, CO – May 19, 2017 – The Colorado Horse Park (CHP) and Dressage In The Rockies (DSIR) management team have announced a location change for Saturday, May 20, due to inclement weather in the Denver region. The first day of the Dressage Symposium In The Rockies will be moved to the two indoor arenas located at the facility.
Parking for spectators and auditors will be located at 7522 South Pinery Drive. Due to weather constraints, parking availability is limited. Please carpool if possible. Overflow parking will be located in the Show Ground Parking Lot T, located off of 7375 Bayou Gulch Road entrance. A limo shuttle and ADA accessible shuttle will be offered for spectators and auditors, and will running throughout the day between Parking Lot T and the two main indoor arenas.
VIP and General Admission Check-In will be located in the Lobby of the CHP Administration Office, while VIP Catering for auditors who have purchased VIP passes will be located in the Hunter Lounge in the CHP Administration Office.
Rider Check-In will be in the Show Office, as initially scheduled, near Barn B, which is where horses will be stabled. The indoor arenas are insulated but warm clothing and blankets are recommend for your comfort. General auditing will be located in the bleacher seating surrounding both indoor arenas.
Lars Petersen will begin his sessions at 8:00 a.m. and will continue instructing through 5:00 p.m. in the large indoor arena at CHP, while Jane Weatherwax will begin her clinic sessions at 11:00 a.m., which will run through 5:00 p.m., in the smaller adjacent indoor arena.
