Meet The Trainers at CHP

Shannon Dahmer

Dahmer has been riding since she was nine-years old. A recipient of a USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold medals, Dahmer has a passion for treaching and riding the discipline of dressage. She has also earned Bronze, Silver and Gold Freestyle Bars. With numerous Regional Championship wins under her belt from Training Level thru Grand Prix, Dahmer has a breadth of experience at all of the recognized levels of the sport, most recently placing 5th in the nation at the USDF Finals in 3rd Level Open. Dahmer appreciated the patience of dressage and enjoys the journey of training horses up through the levels.

Jodi Kennedy

Kennedy has been riding and training for nearly 30 years, helping students and clients to excel in the hunter and jumper disciplines. Although Kennedy enjoyed showing in the past, but nothing is more rewarding for her than being on the ground teaching her Foxfire clients, students, and horses. The main goal at Foxfire Farm is to develop a competitive strategy for the horse and rider combination, regardless of their experience.

Diane Nunn

Diane Nunn brings more than 20+ years of experience in the hunter/jumper industry, providing a sense of focus and encouragement to each of her clients, whether that be in riding, training, or competing. Nunn has been a part of the CHP family for many years and brings an experienced expertise to her riding and training programs offered at the facility.

Ralph & Krista Olson

Ralph and Krista Olson are the owners and operators of Point View Equestrian Ventures, LLC, based at The Colorado Horse Park. The Point View Equestrian Ventures, LLC team focuses on equestrian sales and imports from around the world, providing equine purchase opportunities of top quality competition mounts for a wide range of clientele.

Jennifer Rhodes

Jennifer Rhodes brings a lifetime of experience to her job as head trainer at Up & Over, Inc. Her passion for horses and teaching is evident in her commitment to helping riders achieve their personal goals. Always an advocate for the horse, Jennifer believes riders should learn to ride better so our partner, the horse, has a better life.

Mary Sayre

Mary Sayre has been training show hunters and jumpers for more than 30 years. North Woods Farm operates a goal-oriented program, which teaches riders of all skill levels the fundamentals of equestrian sport, while offering numerous competition opportunities for clients. Collecting multiple year end championship awards are an annual occurrence for North Woods Farm, as they have recently included Zone 8 Horse of the Year awards in 2013, 2014, and 2015. North Woods Farm also has a selection of quality competition horses for sale throughout the year.
