The Colorado Horse Park Welcomes First Snowflake Series Hunter/Jumper Competition of the Season

Parker, CO – November 27, 2017 – The Colorado Horse Park (CHP) hosted another successful weekend of competition during the first Hunter/Jumper Snowflake Series Competition of the 2017-18 season, from November 18 through November 19 at The Colorado Horse Park in Parker, Colorado. With an impressive turnout, CHP looks forward to the continuation and growth of the series throughout the coming winter months.

Division Highlights:

Nicole Delouey and Snickers, captured top honors in the 2′-2’3″ Jumpers Division, sponsored by Millbrook Leathers, while Ivy Hinds and Dash, were presented with the division’s reserve championship honors.

The 3′ Jumpers Division, sponsored by Electric Cowgirl, LLC, saw Brooke Hicks and Ever So Clever, take the divisional championship ahead of Colleen Maersch, piloting Hickory Dickory Dock, who finished in reserve.

The Advanced Hunter Division saw Paige Perla, guided Sopper Trooper to take top honors after their consistent performances throughout the weekend. Reserve champion was awarded to Anna Lawrence and Pilgrim.

The Pile of Poles Division, sponsored by Littleton Equine Medical Center, was bested by Sydney Huff riding Amore. Reserve champion was presented to Carley Tripp and Cash.

The Beginner Hunter Over Fences Division, sponsored by Arenus, was won by Shauna MacDuffee and Royal Symphony who were victorious in the division, taking champion honors ahead of Tayler McGrew and Demora, who earned reserve champion honors.

The Intermediate Equitation Division saw a win for Gentry Beresford and Sweet Potato. Reserve champion honors went to Aedan Monney piloting Paradise Prince.

Caroline Krier captured the victory in the Walk/Trot Division on Tosca. Morgan Walker, took the reserve finish aboard Daisy.

The 2’6″-2’9″ Jumper Division, sponsored by Osphos, awarded champion to Rachel Kennedy and Just Ben. Molly Faunce took second place, piloting Daenerys II.

Lauren Jost was the champion of the 3’3″ Jumpers Division, sponsored by Tory Hoefar: Remax, aboard WT Dragonfly, while Kaytlin Ryan and Cosmopolitan went home with reserve.

The Beginner Hunter Equitation Division saw Tess Fink, and Lannister to victory ahead of Daisy and Patricia McGinity.

Caroline Krier of won the Cross Rails Division, sponsored by Gaye Barrett of Engel & Volkers, with Tosca. Second place went Carley Tripp and Cash.

The Intermediate Hunter Division, sponsored by Voltaire Designs, saw a champion placing for Gentry Beresford and Sweet Potato, once again. Kylah Romke and Gobble Till You Wobbles swept up reserve.

Competition will resume at CHP with the second installment of the Hunter/Jumper Snowflake Series Competition, beginning Saturday, December 16 and continuing through Sunday, December 17. For more information please visit
